The Windsor Arch Petgate closes firmly yet easily with one simple push, keeping your pet contained and your home protected.  The exclusive matte bronze finish is designed for exceptional richness, durability and depth of color. The arch on the gate adds a touch of style and will complement any home décor, while its heavy-duty metal construction is built to last! Gate swings open both ways for added convenience and offers a triple-locking system for peace of mind. To keep the gate open for multiple pass through, simply use the hold-open feature to prevent the gate from closing. The gate pressure mounts easily by using tension knobs to secure the gate in place. Ideal for a variety of room openings or at the bottom of stairs, the gate measures 28.25 to 38.25 inches wide with two extensions included, and is 28.5 inches high.  The Windsor Arch Petgate has an additional 13.5 inch extension (sold separately) that will expand the gate up to 71.25 inches wide. FAQ's:

My pressure-mounted metal gate came out of the package looking bent and has a gap where the latch should be. What do I do?
When you unpack this gate, you may notice that it is not square. This is normal and the gate is not damaged. It is manufactured at a pre-set angle so that when it is installed properly in an opening, it will maintain the correct amount of tension. This tension prevents the gate from being dislodged from the opening under normal use. Please read and follow the instruction manual carefully.

What is the distance between the bars of my gate?
The distance between the bars of most of our pressure-mounted metal gates is 2 ¼ inches.

Can I add more extensions to my pressure-mounted metal gate?
Not all of our gates have the option to increase its width with extensions. If your gate has additional extensions available, they will be found in our Pet Gate Extensions section of our website. Because extensions are not universal but are exclusive to the gate, the easiest way to find them is to search with the 4-digit model number of the gate. If the gate has additional extensions available for purchase, they will show in the results. Otherwise, the product page of your specific gate will also offer any available extensions that can be purchased separately.

Do I need to use the mounting cups that are included in the hardware package?
The mounting cups should be used to ensure the safety and security of the gate.

Can I get replacement parts for my gate?
Most components will be included in a prepackaged hardware set and may not be sold separately. Any Pet Gate Replacement Parts that are offered can be ordered directly on our website by using the search feature to search with the 4-digit model number (or name) of the product. All available replacement parts will show in the results. If you do not see the component that you are looking for, that means it is not something available for ordering or may be for a discontinued gate.

Can I use my pressure-mounted gate at the top of my stairs?
Unless it states specifically that it is intended to be used at the top of a stairway, we do not recommend the use of our pressure-mounted gates at the top of the stairs. Only hardware-mounted gates that are permanently installed into a wooden stud/surface are safe to use at the top of a stairway. With enough force, a pressure-mounted gate may become dislodged and no longer hold tension, leading to falls, injury, or damage. You can view all of our Top of Stairs Pet Gates on our website.

What is the width of the door on my pressure-mounted gate?
The width of the swinging door on most of our pressure-mounted metal gates is 22 inches.

Are there additional extensions available to make my Windsor Arch Gate Wider?
Yes. An optional 5-Bar Extension is available (sold separately). This extension adds 13.5″ to the width of the gate.

What is the Triple Locking System on the Windsor Arch Pet Gate?
When installed properly, there are three steps required to open the gate from the locked position.

  1. Rotate the plastic locking handle (the release button/tab will be on the underside of the handle, facing the ground, when it is unlocked).
    2. Retract the release button/tab on the underside.
    3. Lift on the door and open.

Retracting the release button in step 2 is what causes the door to clear the spring-loaded tab opposite of the latch. The release button is only used when opening the door of the gate. (When the latch is in the locked position, the release button will be facing out from the gate.)

  • If you are retracting the release button and the door will not open when lifted, you have the gate installed too tightly and you will need to loosen the tension knobs.
  • If you can lift on the door and it opens without having to retract the release button, you have it installed improperly and it will need to be tightened more at the tension knobs.

I have three of these gates and LOVE them. Have tried other brands, but NONE compare to this. Super simple to install without drilling holes in walls or baseboards. Easy to open, and stays open when needed, like bringing in groceries. Beautiful finish looks great with my decor, Guests comment on what pretty doggie gates they are. Pricing at chewy.com is great!!!
