FAQ's:

How do I clean my SuperFeeder?
To clean this feeder, or any tube feeder, we suggest you use your garden hose and spray inside the tube to get most of the old seeds out. Then, use a bleach/water solution (1/4 cup bleach to two gallons water) and scrub with a long brush to get the feeder clean. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before refilling the tube.

Can I buy metal perches to replace the plastic perches on my Superfeeder?
Unfortunately, we do not carry metal perches for our Superfeeder. Additional plastic perches can be ordered on our website by entering the model number of your feeder into the search bar at the top of any page.  Additionally, you can locate the product page for your feeder in the bird section of our website and finding replacement parts there.

We have had this feeder for many years now and continue to use it after replacing some of the perches that were damaged by a rampaging raccoon. I would love to buy another one of these.

My husband bought me this feeder for Christmas. Put it up when the weather allowed. Once installed, noticed the birds weren't using the ports so we poured seed into the lower base. Now I have to go out daily and jiggle the seed so the birds get the seed. I feel the design is bad.

It's a nice feeder, it holds a lot of seed and I love seeing all the birds chirping and eating together, it really is a fun feeder....for about half a season. But there are several things that could make it better. First, for the price, it would be nice to have metal perches. The squirrels just chew through the plastic ones too quickly. A baffle on the bottom and the top would be nice, the squirrels just climb right up the pole and have a feast. There should be more drain holes on the bottom tray, seeds accumulate quickly and get moldy after a few weeks if not kept meticulously clean. It cannot be cleaned out well. the tubes can get clean, but if there is anything between the bottom of the feeding tube and the floor /tray it gets gross quickly too. we have sprouts growing and we can't get them cleaned out. The squirrels have made the feeder unusable because they have destroyed all of the perches. I don't mind feeding squirrels, they stay out of my gardens if I keep them happy with seeds and corn, but I'd rather they not destroy my feeders. Upgrade the perches, tray and baffles and you have yourself a fantastic feeder.

This Northstates Superfeeder is such a great feeder. Plenty of room for different species of birds that share well, all at one time. I bought my second one this year after a bear with cubs got my first one after 20 years of continuous service. So to prevent another bear attack I just hung it up from a higher branch on a tree limb. I have not used the pole since the tree is conveniently next to our house and it works out better. I would highly recommend this feeder!

Bought this feeder a week ago to replace a lower end triple tube feeder and the birds loved it right away. High quality feeder with good squirrel protections as long as you can install away from jumping locations such as trees and buildings. North States is class act supplier as well. I had a few questions on mounting options and best locations and the follow up was very fast and professional. All in all, a very good experience in upgrading my bird feeder.
