MADE WITH PURPOSE
Our natural wood gates have an organic beauty all their own. We stand for heirloom quality and craftsmanship, using sustainably sourced hardwood in the construction of each of our Woodland Collection natural wood gates.
All of our products are tested for toxins and lead content, and all pass our rigorous testing and U.S. government standards for lead, VOCs, PVCs and other heavy metals content.
Made from solid woods such as poplar, maple, beach, ash or basswood, our natural wood gates are unfinished/untreated – however, some of the wood parts may have a light coating of non-toxic wax to assist in the sliding of the panels.
SUSTAINABLE FORESTS
The hardwood used to craft our natural wood gates comes from USA sustainably sourced forests, which are carefully managed and regulated. Trees are replaced with seedlings as they mature and fall. Sustainably sourced wood minimizes the impact of logging on forests and the surrounding wildlife, helping to preserve the environment for future generations.
RECYCLABILITY
All components of our natural wood gates are recyclable; from the wood, to the gliders and latches. The wood can be recycled by chipping for use as feedstock to particle board. The plastic gliders are a polypropylene which is fully recyclable. Finally, all hardware such as screws/latches can be recycled as scrap steel.
