North States Two-Way Squirrel Baffle

I purchased 3 of the North States Squirrel baffle and installed them that day. The squirrel's tried all day and couldn't get to the seed. The next morning my wife said the squirrel found out how to get to the seed. I checked and he had chewed about half of the baffle that holds up the done and the dome was just off the ground. I had to put a steel U clamp on the pole to hold up the dome. It doesn't sit even but the squirrel can't get to the seed. I sent an Email to North States and reported my problem and ask them if they had a steel baffle. They replied they were sorry but they don't make a steel baffle. I am now going to take the two down and clean them up and return all 3 to the store. I would think the company should know that a squirrel could chew through their plastic and made them out of metal. Not a happy customer

It only works if you mount your feeder and the baffle on a pole. If you hang the feeder and baffle, the baffle tilts so much that when the squirrel slide off it can grab the feeder, pull itself up, and eat the seed.

The best! Squirrels may find a way to breach this, but it does a great job keeping rain off of bird seed. Very durable and easy to install.

I even tried aluminum foil, looked like I was trying to contact Mars. It made it one day and the next day they shredded it. This product saved my sanity. Since I hang my feeders in trees it took a little time to find the right spot. Now it’s entertaining rather than frustrating to watch the critters.

Excellent product ! Only baffle that works, squirrels cant reach your feeder and the baffle stays in place .
